Medical Access accepts most major insurance plans. The health plans in which we participate are listed below. If your insurance is listed below, you will only be required to pay your co-pay or deductible at the time of your visit.
Medical Access accepts insurance as a courtesy to patients. Health insurance is intended to cover some, but not all, of the cost of treatment. Most plans include co-insurances, a deductible and other expenses, which may be your responsibility. It is always good to know your insurance coverage. For your convenience we have provided links to most insurance companies or you may refer to your insurance card for a telephone number to call and verify your coverage.
Medical Access is a participating provider with all the Blue Cross/ Blue Shield plans. We process our claims as participating provider. You are responsible for any non-covered services as defined by your plan.
For patients without insurance we provide the convenience of paying with Check, Cash, MasterCard or Visa. Payment is required at the time of service.
When you visit Medical Access, please take care of the following:
Carry a copy of your insurance card and photo ID with you.
If you have a HMO plan, you will require a pre-authorization or referral from your primary care physicians to visit an urgent care facility. Please call your primary care physician for authorization before you visit our facility.
If you do not have the relevant documents, you may be required to pay for the visit and submit your own insurance claim.
Several physicians practicing at Medical Access are accepting new patients for primary care. If you are new to the area or do not currently have a primary care physician, contact our office to see about selecting one of our physicians as your primary care.
