Manbir Takhar, MD
Dr. Takhar has been the Medical Director of Medical Access since 1999. She completed her undergraduate studies as well as her medical degree in 1986. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has practiced in some of the country's major emergency rooms. This has prepared her for almost any type of injury or illness that may present itself. In addition to these qualifications she is also a Civil Surgeon, which is an Immigration and Naturalization Service designation and a Medical Review Officer (MRO), overseeing drug-screening programs for employers. She enjoys gardening, shopping, spending time with her family and actively participates in activities of her two children.
Joseluis Jimenez, MD
Dr. Jimenez has background in Family Practice, specializing in all age groups. He graduated from the Colombia School of Medicine in Bogota, Colombia in 1991 and subsequently received his Masters of Health Administration from the University of Javeriana, also in Colombia. He completed his residency in 2001 at Mercy Health System in Wisconsin. He speaks Spanish fluently. He enjoys traveling.
Leonard K. Kassis, MD
Dr. Kassis has over 10 years experience in Urgent care and Occupational Health. He received his medical degree from Marshall University located in Huntington, West Virginia and did his residency program at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. His second language is Arabic. He enjoys playing sports, traveling and collecting coins/currency.
Carol Mattes, MD
Dr. Mattes has experience in Family Practice and Occupational Medicine. She completed her post doctoral studies at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1993. She received her medical degree in 2000 from the University of Pittsburg and completed her residency at University of Maryland. She is Board-Certified in Family Practice. She enjoys traveling, diving, and gardening.
