Medical Access is a leader in providing effective work injury illness treatment and workers' compensation management. At our facility we provide immediate evaluation and treatment for non-life threatening injuries, thereby allowing the injured worker and the employer to avoid the high costs and lengthy wait associated with treatment at an emergency room. In cases where emergency room treatment is required, i.e. for injuries sustained after normal business hours, a Medical Access provider is usually affiliated with the nearby emergency department. The Medical Access provider will follow up the case and provide the necessary continued treatment and return-to-work procedures.

Employers who utilize an Occupational Health Management Program such as ours, experience significant cost savings, typically by as much as 30-40% in the first year. The table below demonstrates a client's savings over a four-year period.

Base year 1st year 2nd year 3rd year 4th year
Total cost $ 756,000 $ 529,200 $ 493,120 $ 485,000 $ 375,000
Average cost per employee $ 515 $ 342 $ 268 $ 252 $ 182
Savings from Base Year     $ 226,800 $ 262,880 $ 271,000 $ 381,000

TOTAL SAVINGS = $ 1,141,680.00
